ILWACO Heading into Fridays game against Ridgefield on Senior Night at Peterson Field, the Ilwaco High School football team still had an outside chance to be in the District IV playoff picture. What was needed was a Fishermen victory over the Spudders to set up a Kansas City tie-breaker.

Unfortunately, that scenario didnt work out and in the final league game of the season, Ilwaco suffered a bitter 14-0 loss. With the defeat, Ilwacos season record fell to 2-5 in league games and 3-6 overall.
