OYSTERVILLE Four post offices in Pacific and Wahkiakum counties are being studied for closure by as early as January, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe said Tuesday.
On the closure list are the post offices in Oysterville, Menlo, Lebam and Skamokawa.
These four are among about 3,700 around the nation that may get the ax as the Postal Service struggles to close a deficit estimated to total $8.3 billion this year.
