LONG BEACH – Perfect. That was the word to describe the conditions for the 2011 Sandsations competition at Bolstad approach in Long Beach Saturday, July 23. The crowds were large, the number of sand sculptors may have been down, but the weather was absolutely marvelous with 75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky and just enough breeze to be more than comfortable.
