Royal Cab is serving people needing rides in Pacific and Clatsop counties.

ASTORIA In November, Royal Cab began offering taxi services on the Long Beach Peninsula.

Owned by Travis Weichal, Royal Cab was started in 1996 and is based out of Astoria. Operating 24 hours a day, the company serves Pacific County passengers at a $2 rate plus $2.40 per mile. Up to five people can be transported at one time.

Passengers can pay their fare with cash, but Royal Cab also accepts debit, VISA, Mastercard, Discover. They also offer a 10 military discount and the taxis are equipped to transport bicycles.
