Letter: Review of ‘Killing Time’: Wow!
Published 5:00 pm Monday, October 25, 2010
This last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Peninsula Players’ production of “Killing Time,” by Richard Stockwell. I really didn’t know what to expect, but wanted to support my local community theater, and wow, I was blown away!
I will say, this play is not intended for children, as there is some coarse language and mature themes. But this production was polished, professional, and extremely well acted by the only two cast members, Bill Ham and Melissa McLeod. Being relatively new to the theater arts locally, I had not heard of Bill Ham, but was assured that “if he lived in a larger city, he could make a living doing this.” I see this was no exaggeration! This is an exceptional production, and I really want to urge the public to come see it this weekend (Oct. 29, 30 or 31) before its run is over and all you get are the rave reviews.
