WILLAPA BAY – Friends of Willapa National Wildlife Refuge have selected 13 winning photos for their 2010 Willapa Refuge calendar.

Winning photos were selected based upon the following three categories: wildlife native to the area; flora native to the area; and scenic views within Willapa refuge.

Winners of the photo contest include: Peggy Bleckov, Louis Champan, Dr. Madeline Kalbach, Jennie Kendrick, Cathy Russ, Michael Campellone, Kristine Lashley and Suzy Whittey.

The 2010 Willapa Refuge calendar will be for purchase at: Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum and Time Enough Books in Ilwaco, the Long Beach Peninsula Visitors Center and Beachdog.com in Long Beach, and Oysterville Sea Farms in Oysterville.
