Mr. Mullins and his family followed construction projects throughout Oregon and Washington. In 1976 they settled in Naselle. There he finished his employment and could enjoy his outdoor pursuits of hunting and fishing. He particularly enjoyed fishing for the northern pike minnow at Bonneville Dam and the financial incentive of catching these fish.
Blessed with a friendly, outgoing personality, he was generous, unselfish, devoted to his family and particularly enjoyed his grandchildren.
Besides his wife of 50 years he is survived by his son, Clay Langley Mullins of Naselle; two daughters, Jacquelyn Witt of Bremerton and Kerry York of Naselle; sisters, Gypsy Faircloth of Homestead, Fla., Joann Vees of Mukwonago, Wis., and Donna Woolridge of Waukesha, Wis.; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other members of his extended family.
