NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, a Primary/Special Election will be held in Pacific County, State of Washington for the submission to the qualified voters living in Fire Protection District 5 and Raymond School District # 116 the following:

Shall Fire District No. 5 levy upon the regular taxable property within the District, in addition to its regular levy, the sum of $63,771.00 (approximately $.90 per thousand of assessed valuation) for the year 2010 for the purpose of providing emergency medical care, ambulance services and elections expenses to its citizens?

Every registered voter in Raymond School District No. 116 and Fire Protection District 5, Pacific County will receive his or her ballot by mail for the August 18, 2009 Primary/Special Election. The ballots will be mailed out on July 29, 2009. Registered voters may mail or deposit their ballot at the Auditor’s office (South Bend) up to and including the day of the Election. The Auditor’s offices will be open on August 18, 2009, Election Day only, from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM to receive vote by mail ballots, also Election Day only Raymond High School, 1016 Commercial St., Raymond will be a drop off site for ballots. Any Ballots postmarked after the election will not be counted. The County Auditor’s offices are ADA compliant and registration and voting aids are available upon request.
