Welcome to the World: Emily and Ashlyn Meyers

LONGVIEW – Emily and Ashlyn Meyers were born Nov. 21, 2008, at St. John Medical Center in Longview. The girls’ proud parents are Pete and Alicia Meyers of Castle Rock.

Emily weighed five pounds, 14 ounces at birth and was 19.5 inches long. Ashlyn weighed six pounds, nine ounces and was also 19.5 inches long.

Their maternal grandparents are Melinda Kary of Castle Rock and Pete Borchers of Cathlamet. Their paternal grandparents are Donna Jean Sidebottom of Darrington and Glen Meyers of Castle Rock. The girls also have a great-grandmother, Mert Kary, of Ilwaco.
