Masonic Lodge: Jack Green leads Occident Lodge

ILWACO – Jack Green of Ocean Park is the new master of Occident Lodge No. 99, Free and Accepted Masons of Washington. He took over the gavel from Jim Tongue of Seaview at an installation ceremony at the lodge in Ilwaco on Saturday, Dec. 15.
Green is a past master of Confidence Lodge No. 110, of Soquel, Calif.
Other officers installed were Geoff Morse, of Ocean Park, senior warden; Warren Hartzell, of Long Beach, junior warden; Dick Rodlun, of Ocean Park, senior deacon, Earl Soule, of Long Beach, junior deacon; Tongue, secretary; Neal Emond, of Ilwaco, treasurer; Norm Grier, of Seaview, chaplain; Tom Singer, of Long Beach, marshal; and Les Moore of Ilwaco, tiler.
The installing officers were Jim Mack, installing master; Sherm Richmond, installing marshal; and Dobby Wiegardt, installing chaplain, all of Ocean Park, and installing secretary, Walt Twidwell of Brooklyn.
The Ilwaco Masonic lodge meets on the first Thursday of each month, except July and August, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting at 7:30 p.m. All Masons, including those visiting the coast, are welcome to attend.
