A public hearing is scheduled before the Long Beach City Council on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter in the City Council Chambers at Long Beach City Hall, 115 Bolstad Avenue West, Long Beach, WA 98631. The City Council will consider and hear testimony on amendments to Title 12, Zoning, of the City of Long Beach Municipal Code. The amendments include changes to Section 12-8C-2, Permitted Uses in the S3 Shoreline Resort District, to prohibit residential uses on upper floors.

The hearing may be continued without further notice if the date, time and place of the continued hearing are announced at the initial hearing. Interested persons may appear and be heard, but are encouraged to submit comments in writing at least three days prior to the hearing date. It is the right of any person to comment on the proposed revisions, receive notice of and participate in any hearing, and request a copy of the decision once made. The proposed amendments are available for review at Long Beach City Hall. Comments may be sent to: Community Development Department, RE: Zoning Code Amendments, P.O. Box 310, Long Beach, WA 98631.
