There will be three positions open on the Surfside Homeowners Association board for the July election.

Criteria for candidates are as follows: 1) must have a paid-up membership in the association, 2) make a commitment to attend at least 60 percent of scheduled board meetings, including the annual meeting of the association, 3) make a commitment to accept assignment as the trustee of an association oversight committee and/or as trustee advisor to member committees, 4) be willing to serve as an officer of the association.

The application, a resume and a candidate statement must be submitted to the homeowners’ office prior to Friday, May 4, at 4 p.m. Votes will be counted at the annual meeting in July and the newly-elected trustees will begin serving on the board thereafter.
