Donations sought for Oct. 21 Camp Victory fundraiser

ILWACO – The newly renovated Inn at Harbour Village, located at 120 Williams Avenue, N.E. in Ilwaco, is hosting an evening of fun and fundraising for its first annual dinner, silent and live auction supporting Camp Victory to be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. Tickets are $45 per person.
Camp Victory is an organization that has benefited young girls from ages 5 to 18 who, in their young lives, have experienced childhood sexual abuse. Camp Victory, a safe and secure campsite on the Long Beach Peninsula has been in existence for 16 years and is designed to assist young survivors to overcome adversity and gain coping skills to lead them to successful, productive lives. Camp Victory provides a four-day camp free of charge, pairing counselors and campers on a one-to-one basis enabling campers to get the individual attention and love that builds self-esteem and helps them to learn to trust again.
A portion of the monies raised and 100 percent of the live and silent auction proceeds will go directly to Camp Victory.
This special evening will be catered by Baked Alaska Restaurant from Astoria. Tours of the newly renovated Inn at Harbour Village will be offered to guests who attend the event.
