Your front page article by Elizabeth Long “Mother’s devotion … happy ending” is a shoddy piece of writing and poor journalistic ethics.

By leaving out the name of the veterinary hospital responsible you did a disservice to pet owners on the Peninsula. Those of us who care about our pets should be given all the facts to make an informed decision as to whom we entrust our beloved animals. A vet so cavalier with the life of a pregnant pet doesn’t deserve to stay in business.

Why are you sheltering this hospital from the negative publicity it so rightly deserves?
