LONG BEACH POLICESept. 24 – At 2:02 p.m. it was reported that a guest at a motel was “bending the window screen” and that he answers the phone in the room as “State police.”

A “tip jar” that contained in excess of $40 was taken from a local business at 10:41 p.m.

Sept. 25 – Gasoline was reported stolen from five vehicles at 8:09 a.m.

At 9:18 a.m. a vehicle prowl was reported. Taken were a number of tools.

At 11 a.m. a caller reported a red Ford F150 hit another vehicle and drove off.

Sept. 26 – At 3:18 p.m. a body was reported to be in the grass.

A fight-in-progress was reported at 3:51 p.m.

The theft of two flags from a pole was reported at 5:10 p.m.

A “minors in possession” party was reported at 11:51 p.m.

Sept. 29 – An assault was reported at 12:09 p.m.

Sept. 30 – At 12:37 a.m. a report came in of a female “bleeding from the mouth.” It was unknown if an assault occurred or what happened.

At 2:25 p.m. a caller reporting smelling gas or propane.

At 7:17 p.m. it was reported that the parents of a 7-year-old male failed to show up to claim him.

PACIFIC COUNTY SHERIFFSept. 24 – At 3:11 a.m. an assault was reported in Naselle. According to the caller, all parties had been drinking. One person was hit in the head with a beer bottle and had a head laceration that was bleeding.

A prowler was reported at 3:29 a.m. in Ocean Park. When the homeowner shined a light outside after hearing noises, the prowler shined a light back at him.

At 10:36 a.m. in the Tides West area, someone tried to blow up a mailbox.

A corn thief was reported at 11:53 a.m. at Sandridge and Pioneer roads.

At 2:37 p.m. a 10-year-old female in Rushlight was threatening her siblings.

The theft of a washer and dryer from a residence in Ocean Park was reported at 5:10 p.m.

A suspicious motorcycle was reported at Sandridge and Little Roads at 9:44 p.m. with no lights on. The caller thought it might be the same person who stole gas from them previously. Another call came in at 10:20 p.m. regarding the same motorcycle which was said to have a “gas can on the back and a hose on the front.”

Gasoline theft was reported in Nahcotta at 11:25 p.m.

Sept. 25 – Two intoxicated people were reported in a Aerostar at 12:47 a.m. According to the caller when the two males got out of the vehicle, “they spilled drinks on themselves.”

A prowler was reported in Seaview at 4:58 a.m.

At 7:35 p.m. a backpack was reported stolen from a bedroom on in a home on Ruby Street.

At 10:04 p.m. suspicious people were reported yelling loudly at 10:04 p.m. The suspects then left in an older van with no windows.

Sept. 26- At 9:44 a.m. financial exploitation of an adult was reported.

At 1:51 p.m. a burglary was reported at Vernon Street and Joe Johns Road. A door had been kicked in to gain entry.

A two-vehicle accident was reported in Surfside at 2:20 p.m.

At 7:24 p.m. it was reported that several people are living under a blue tarp on property in Tokeland. The caller said they may have a dog that is either sick or has been injured.

Sept. 27 – At 3:26 a.m. in Seaview, a 6-foot tall man, approximately 25-years-old, was pounding on a resident’s door yelling that someone was chasing him through the dunes.

At 7:03 a.m. the Seaview resident called again and said the man stayed on their porch all night, afraid to leave.

Approximately 150 gallons of diesel fuel was reported stolen in Naselle at 8:55 a.m.

At 6:23 p.m. a burglary was reported.

At 6:37 p.m. the theft of fuel from a Vernon Street and Joe Johns location was reported.

Sept. 28 – At 8:49 a.m. in South Bend, a dump truck was reported on its side.

A burglary was reported in Seaview at 10:01 a.m. Numerous tools were taken in the theft.

At 12:49 p.m. someone from Naselle called to report a vicious dog. The caller said campers have been at the lake for at least two months and they have lots of dogs. The caller also said one dog killed two of their own dogs and has run off.

Sept. 29 – The theft of two boat motors was reported from Old Willapa at 8:46 a.m.

Check forgery was reported in South Bend at 11:32 a.m.

Vandalism was reported at 12:44 p.m. The back window of a truck was broken out.

At 9:19 p.m. a man on a motorcycle was said to be acting suspiciously and was “monkeying” with road paving equipment.

Sept. 30 – At 9:38 a.m. vandalism was reported. According to the report, rocks hit a front window and shattered it.

A mailbox had been vandalized at 12:04 p.m.

There were more than 113 traffic stops made during the week.
