ILWACO – Laurie and Warren Hazen of Ilwaco are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Johanna Louise Hazen to David Mathew Gustafson, son of Wade and Mary Ellen Gustafson of Astoria.

Hazen graduated from Ilwaco High School and attended the Art Institute in Seattle. She is currently a stay-at-home mom to daughter, Milly.

David graduated from Astoria High School and Clatsop Community College. He works for the Washington State Parks and Recreation Department at Cape Disappointment. He will soon attend the Washington State Park Ranger Academy.

The couple plans to marry on Aug. 5 at the Pacific Bible Church (formerly Ilwaco Community Church), with a reception at Fort Columbia State Park. In the fall, they will honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii.
