PACIFIC COUNTY – Pacific County Fire District No. 1 has issued a burn ban for all land clearing, special burn permits, and agricultural burns effective midnight Monday, Aug. 1 due to high fire danger. This ban will continue within the boundaries of Pacific County Fire District No. 1, until further notice.

Backyard burning and recreational fires are exempt at this time; however, before doing any burning call the burn information line, 665-3508 for up to date information.
