ILWACO – The parent committee for the IHS Class of 2005 is having three raffles to raise money for the annual Alcohol and Chemical Free Grad Party.

The first raffle will be for 12 separate loaves of Inez Greenfield’s famous Christmas cardamom bread. The drawing will be on Wednesday evening, Dec. 22, at the Ilwaco-Astoria boys basketball home game. The 12 lucky winners need not be present at the game to win, but will need to pick up the bread by 5 p.m. the following day at Midway Printery in Long Beach. Tickets are $1 donation.

Another raffle is for two separate gift certificates for coolers of cooked crab. The scheduled drawing is on Jan. 21, 2005, at the IHS boys basketball game. These tickets are $5 per chance. This same night, a truckload of wood will also be raffled at the basketball game. This will be delivered free within the Peninsula area. The tickets are $1 each.

All tickets are available for sale at the Long Beach branch of The Bank of the Pacific and also at Midway Printery.
