Laura Smith, Candy Woolstenhulme are promoted at Bank of the Pacific

LONG BEACH – Dennis Long, chief executive officer of The Bank of the Pacific, last week announced the recent promotions of Laura Smith to vice president and Candy Woolstenhulme to assistant vice president.

Smith began her career with The Bank in May 1983 as a data entry clerk at the Long Beach office. She then moved into loan operations in August 1983. She was promoted to loan officer in 1992 and was promoted to assistant vice president in 1999. Smith carries a portfolio of consumer, real estate and commercial loans, recently completing the Washington Bankers Association Commercial Lending School. Smith has also served as the CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) officer for the last four years. Smith lives in Surfside with her husband, Fred.

Woolstenhulme has been in banking since l975, joining The Bank of the Pacific in June 2003 as a commercial loan assistant providing administrative and technical support to the Clatsop County loan production office. Currently, Woolstenhulme serves as the compliance officer responsible for supervising the overall management of The Bank’s Compliance Management Program. She recently completed the American Bankers Association National Compliance School. Woolstenhulme lives in Warrenton, Ore.
