PUYALLUP – R.L. Surveying announced their newest crew member, Arie Lang VanderHoek, born Dec. 16, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. Arie weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and was 19 inches long.

He was welcomed by his older sister, Astrid, who is 4 years old. His parents are Jason and April (Lang) VanderHoek of Puyallup. April is a 1990 IHS graduate.

Proud grandparents include Richard and Diane Lang of Stevenson and Long Beach, and Ted and Kathy VanderHoek of Bellevue; great-grandparents are Katherine and Alex Toth of Portland and Reda and Paul VanderHoek of Bellevue.
