Naselle Mid-School Wildcats do well in sub-league home track meet

NASELLE – The Naselle Middle School Wildcats track team made impressive efforts at the sub-league track meet in Naselle Monday, May 10.
Fourteen members of the team qualified for the league meet in one or more events: Michael Shirley: 400, shot, 4×100, long jump; Conor Smith: 800, 1600, high jump, 4×100; Nick Hines: 800, 1600; Gabe See: pole vault, 4×100; Alex Bennett: pole vault; Bobby Footh: pole vault, 110 hurdles, 100 hurdles; Kyle Burkhalter: 1600, high jump, long jump, triple jump; Jenna McHugh: 100, 400, high jump; Reesa Fletcher: triple jump; Narci Carlson: 100, 4×100, 4×200; Brandi Keightly: 100 hurdles, long jump, 4×100, 4×200; Chanel Ruch: 100, 4×100, 4×200; Sylvia Herrold: shot, 400, 800, high jump; Stephanie Wise: triple jump, 4×100, 4×200.
“These students will travel to the league meet in North Beach on Thursday to close the season for the Wildcats,” said coach Al Bennett.
