SURFSIDE – The fifth Annual Peninsula League Baseball Benefit Golf Tournament is for planned Saturday, May 15, at Surfside Golf Course.
The four-person-team scramble, with a shotgun start, begins at 8 a.m. The $40 per person entry fee includes green fees and a barbeque after golf; Surfside members, $25 entry fee.
Golfers should submit tournament registration to Surfside Golf. Registration deadline is Friday, May 14, 4 p.m.
You may register as a team or individually. Each registered individual will be given one raffle ticket which will go into a prize drawing. A majority of the prizes will be awarded for winning tickets during the barbeque. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase throughout the tournament. Prizes will be awarded for holes-in-one, long drives, KPs and low scores (top team only).
The team with the lowest score will win a chartered fishing trip for each team member courtesy of Coho Charter. Hit a hole-in-one and win a brand-new car courtesy of Hayward’s Ocean Crest of Astoria. To be considered for low scores, handicaps are required.

Help support the local Peninsula Youth Baseball League with this annual fund-raiser. Entry fees will be used to support the youth baseball program by purchasing new equipment, new uniforms and funding entry fees for disadvantaged youth.
