HOQUIAM, ILWACO – The Lady Fishermen golf squad lost to Hoquiam 192-256 on Tuesday.

Only three girls competed at Peninsula Golf Course Thursday against Montesano, so no team score was kept.

Against Hoquiam Megan Saunders shot a brilliant 55; Jenny VanOver carded a 61. Merrissa Janas fired a 64 and Dorothy rounded out scoring for Ilwaco with a round of 76.

On Thursday the short-handed Lady Fishermen golfers had only three counting rounds to record, with at least four players required to make a team score. Janas shot 66 at the Long Beach course and VanOver fired a 68, with a 25 yard chip shot being the highlight of her round. Brianna Beller recorded a 90.
