Frances Houston to marry David ZinsliLONG BEACH – Mike and Dena Zinsli are very pleased to announce the engagement of their son, David Gilbert Zinsli, to Miss Frances Mary Houston, both of Long Beach.

Friends in school and graduates of Ilwaco High School in 2000, David and Frannie have been an “item” for over three years. David formally popped the question with a beautiful ring he helped design at our local Johnson Jewelers.

The Zinsli family made the permanent move to the Long Beach Peninsula in 1993. He and his dad are partners in the 10th Street Garage.

Frannie’s dad, Joe Houston, lives in Ocean Park. Her stepmom, Carrie Bower, lives in Vancouver. Her mother and stepdad, Barb and Brian Faley, reside in Long Beach. Frannie has worked as a hostess at Dooger’s Seafood for more than five years.

Their wedding will take place at 5 p.m., August 7, 2004, in Sunset Sands. A favorite teacher and special friend, Robert Filori, will perform the ceremony. The reception celebration will immediately follow.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta before returning to live in Long Beach.
