Richard “Dick” Eager

SHELTON – Richard “Dick” Dorman Eager, 44, died Aug. 15, 2003 in Shelton.
Mr. Eager, the son of Oscar Lee and Kathleen Evelyn (Moffitt) Eager, was born June 2, 1959 in Ilwaco.
He had helped on the family farm in Chinook for 25 years and then worked for Exceptional Foresters, Inc. in Shelton for 10 years in recycling.
Mr. Eager enjoyed fishing, sports including baseball, basketball and football, and he loved music. He attended the First Baptist Church in Shelton for 10 years.
He is survived by his parents Oscar and Kathleen Eager, Chinook; two brothers: Terrance Eager and wife Kathy and Dwight Eager and wife Adrienne all of Chinook; plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one uncle.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 428 West Cota in Shelton on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Glen Keeffe officiating.
