NASELLE – The Naselle High School and Junior High cross country teams will begin turnouts for the 2003 season, under the direction of coach Ryan Bjornsgard for the third year, next Monday, Aug. 25. Bjornsgard said that the team will practice at 3 p.m., meeting at the Naselle High School gym.

Bjornsgard will be assisted for the second year by Mike Queener. Bjornsgard said that he anticipates fielding a complete high school boys team, and, possibly, a complete high school girls team. He is not sure how many junior high athletes will turn out.

The Comets first meet will be Sept. 9 in Elma.
