PORTLAND – Abraham and Lucy Kapua are the proud parents of Melia Keolani Kapua, who was born Sept. 7, 2002 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Portland.

She weighed 6-pounds, 12-ounces and was 21-1/4 inches long.

Melia’s big brother is Kaleo K. Kapua, who is 2 years old.

Maternal grandparents include Barbara Zorich of Long Beach and Jerry Zorich of Portland. Paternal grandmother is Jennifer Garrett of Hilo, Hawaii. Melia also has a great-grandmother, Marguerite Zorich of Warrenton, Ore.
