For new Gearhart loan office, The Bank of the Pacific hires two experienced vice presidents

LONG BEACH – Dennis Long, president and CEO of The Bank of the Pacific, announced the recent hiring of David Clyde and Steve Ferber for The Bank’s new loan production office in Gearhart, Ore.
Both Clyde and Ferber were recently named vice presidents by The Bank and will focus on providing financial products and services for businesses and individuals.
Clyde comes to The Bank of the Pacific from Klamath First Bank (previously Western Bank) with over 30 years of banking experience. He and his wife, Sharon, reside in Cannon Beach. Clyde has been an active participant in several community organizations and says he is looking forward to continuing relationships with community and business associates.
Ferber has 20 years of commercial lending experience and has been a commercial lender in the Clatsop County market since 1995. Ferber spent the last couple of years at US Bank serving the Southwest part of Washington along with the Northwest part of Oregon. Prior to joining US Bank, Ferber managed Bank of Astoria’s Seaside office.
Along with his wife, Susan Trabucco and their son, Alex, Ferber moved to Astoria in 1992. Ferber is a member of the Astoria Rotary; treasurer and board member of the Clatsop Community College Foundation; United Way of Clatsop County board member; Astoria School District Budget Committee; founder and annual fund-raising chair for the Astoria Community Child Center; vice president of the Astoria Babe Ruth Association and baseball coach for Builders’ Supply 13-year old team.
“We are extremely pleased to have two such fine lenders joining The Bank,” Long said. “They are two of the most talented lenders in the area, both very capable in all aspects of business lending.”
Lisa McCormack and Candy Woolstenhulme are also joining Clyde and Ferber in the new Gearhart office as commercial loan assistants.
Located at the intersection of Pacific Highway and 101 in the new Knutsen building, the new loan production office is scheduled to open in mid-July. Although the focus will be on commercial loans, all types of consumer loans will be available as well.
