NASELLE – The Naselle Middle School seventh-grade boys basketball team extended its season record to 6-1 with five wins in the last couple of weeks.

The younger Wildcats beat South Bend 51-22 on Jan. 27, lost a barn-burner 43-42 to Willapa Valley on Jan. 29, beat North Beach 35-27 on Feb. 5, beat Raymond 43-37, and ended their current run with a 40-24 win over Ocosta on Feb. 10.

The Wildcat eighth-graders’ record is 0-8 at this point of the season. They lost to South Bend 41-25, to Willapa Valley 64-12 on the same dates mentioned above. The eighth-graders continued their season with a 43-25 loss to North Beach, a 45-18 loss to Raymond, and a 36-17 loss to Ocosta.
